High quality hand-held illuminated magnifier. Ideal for uses such as looking up a phone number, setting the thermostat or reading the prescription on a medicine bottle. Portability makes them useful for reading a menu in a dimly lit retaurant or looking at a map in car. Features superior quality aspheric lens with scratch-resistant Ceratec coating and large raised on/off switch that makes it easy to turn on and off.

Please note: Like other high power magnifiers, this 7x magnifier requires a short distance between the eye and the magnifier to achieve maximum magnification. This distance is approximately 2.5". As a result, this magnifier must be held approximately 2.5" away from the eye and about the same distance away from the the object being viewed in order to achieve maximum magnification.
