Powerful 10x magnifying loupe. Correction in the Coddington magnifiers is achieved through the use of a single thick lens with a central groove diaphragm. This provides for sharp, crisp images. A swing-away, nickel-plated case protects the lens and serves as a handle. Loupe measures approximately 2" across when opened. The sides of the lens are coated black to reduce the glare. Comes with protective drawstring carrying bag. Coddington got its name from the British inventor, Henry Coddington.
